The Sales Development Manager (SDM) plays a critical role in elevating the performance, consistency, and scalability of our Treasury Sales organization. Reporting directly to the Market Managers, the SDM is responsible for structured onboarding, ongoing training, 1:1 coaching, and performance evaluation. This role is designed to drive alignment across teams, enhance customer engagement, and support the professional growth of our salesforce.

Key Responsibilities

• New Hire Onboarding: Design and lead a structured onboarding program to accelerate time-to-productivity and improve early-stage performance.

• Sales Training: Deliver ongoing training on product knowledge, consultative selling, competitive positioning, and scenario-based learning.

• Organizational Skills Development: Coach team members on prioritization, CRM usage, and disciplined follow-up to improve productivity and forecasting.

• Customer Communication & Proposal Writing: Guide reps on professional, persuasive communication including proposals, emails, and messaging consistency.

• Discovery & Needs Assessment Coaching: Provide individualized coaching to improve discovery calls, strategic questioning, and solution alignment.

• Performance Assessment & Coaching: Evaluate sales skills and behaviors to identify development needs and tailor coaching accordingly.

• Pre-Call Planning & Post-Call Review: Support reps in preparing for client meetings and conduct post-call reviews to reinforce learning.

• Strategic Thinking & Consultation: Help reps shift from transactional to strategic engagement, broaden product knowledge, and build confidence in complex client scenarios.

• Sales Process Consistency: Establish and reinforce standardized sales processes, messaging, and performance benchmarks across teams.

• Scalability & Growth Support: Develop repeatable frameworks for onboarding and development to support team expansion and reduce strain on frontline managers.

Expected Outcomes

• Upskill the Treasury Sales team to confidently engage with clients at all levels

• Improve professionalism and consistency in customer interactions

• Provide a scalable framework for continuous learning and performance improvement

• Enhance alignment across teams and markets

• Support strategic growth through structured development and coaching

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sales enablement, coaching, or a related leadership role

• Strong understanding of Treasury Services and financial products

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven ability to design and deliver training programs

• Experience with CRM systems and sales enablement tools

• Ability to coach and influence across various levels of the organization

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred)

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: M-F
