The Principal Business Insights Analyst will serve as a strategic partner to leadership, providing deep analytical expertise to guide decision-making and solve complex business challenges. This role involves analyzing large datasets, identifying key trends, and presenting actionable insights to stakeholders. The position requires strong technical, strategic, and communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate across teams and drive data-driven initiatives. 

Job Responsibilities

Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities  Partner with cross-functional teams to provide insights that drive strategy and growth  Influence business decisions by delivering clear, concise recommendations backed by data and presenting data stories through visualizations and reports  Act as a trusted advisor to business units, ensuring data alignment with organizational objectives  Communicate complex analyses in a way that is understandable and actionable for non-technical audiences  Mentor junior analysts, fostering skill development and best practices  Lead cross-functional projects to enhance analytics capabilities across the organization.  Manage many priorities with minimal oversight. Plan and prioritize to hit deadlines in conditions that may change rapidly or involve ambiguity.

Minimum Requirements:

•Completed Bachelor’s degree in Business or a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, Data Science, Math, Engineering, or Physical Sciences
•5+ years of experience in business analytics and insights – experience in Financial Services preferred – FINRA certifications a plus
•1+ years of experience managing junior team members
•Proficient in SQL
•Experience with Tableau
•A solid understanding of statistical models and machine learning methods and algorithms
•A strong sense of intellectual curiosity and ability to thrive and deliver value in an entrepreneurial working environment
•Strong conceptual thinking skills and a strong quantitative orientation 
•Excellent written and oral communication credentials, coupled with ability to influence and drive agreement through interpersonal skill and ability to compellingly organize facts 
•Ability to work in a high-performance professional environment, with quick turn-around and evolving priorities, including flexibility to take on new roles and responsibilities as needed
•Commitment to intellectual rigor and observance of compliance and data privacy controls
•A disciplined approach to making decisions and setting expectations

 Preferred Requirements:

•Completed Master’s or MBA preferred in Business or a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, Data Science, Math, Engineering, or Physical Sciences
•Python experience (Strongly Preferred) 
•Proficient with Salesforce / CRM Analytics a plus
•Demonstrated job history stability

Hours & Work Schedule:

•Hours per Week: 40
•Work Schedule: M-F 8:00 AM -5:00 PM ET
